My review:-

I really don’t know where to begin with this one.  I absolutely loved it.  Was it fast paced?  No, not really but for me that added to the suspense.  You just know that something awful is about to happen but just when I thought I knew what that was, well it wasn’t.  So what is about to happen?  Ruth Harrow kept me on the edge right through this book, waiting for the axe to fall.  About half way through I realised, as would most people, that everyone is not as they seem but I was still surprised by the climax.

About the author:-

Ruth Harrow was born and raised in England and graduated from university before embarking on an unfulfilling career in an office job. She eventually put pen to paper and her debut psychological thriller, In Her Footsteps, was published in 2018. It quickly became a bestseller. Following the success of her first novel, her second and third books followed shortly afterwards. She lives in the UK with her husband, two children and chocolate Labrador, Rolo.
